INITIAL AUDIT

  The Audit comprises of discussing with you and your staff how the overall safety function is managed, inspection of any relevant documents, equipment and records, this is followed by an inspection of the workplace. On completion, we will present you with a report outlining both positive and negative elements and proposing recommendations for any improvement or further action that is believed necessary.
 
The Audit will help determine to what degree you comply with the minimum standards laid down under Health & Safety Law. It will also highlight the potential risk/cost to your organisation of not conforming to those minimum standards.
 

RISK ASSESSMENTS
Risk assessments under the following Regulations can be carried out, alternatively staff can be trained to carry them out assisted by the Consultant.

  • Management of Health & Safety At Work Regulations 1999
  • Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002
  • Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992
  • Health & Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992
  • Personal Protective Equipment at Work Regulations 2002
  • Noise at Work Regulations 2005
  • Fire Safety Order 2005
 
  WORKPLACE INSPECTIONS
To determine to what extent your workplace meets the minimum requirements laid down under The Workplace (Health, Safety & Welfare) Regulations 1992. The inspection will cover everything from maintenance of the workplace to sanitary conveniences. On completion a written report will be produced highlighting any areas believed to require further attention.
 

HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
Health & Safety Policies are required if you employ 5 or more staff. We can tailor policies/procedures covering a wide range of situations, drafted specifically to suit individual circumstances and undertakings.
